Thank you for renewing your subscription to Board Fundraising Pro!
We look forward to continuing to help your board be the best fundraising board it can be. Your landing page is already setup, and a reminder of your organization's unique URL and password has been sent to your email address.
Below, you can find a walk through of the steps we recommend everyone takes for Board Fundraising Pro. Since your organization is already set up with Board Fundraising Pro, you may have already done everything on this list. However it may still be helpful to review each step!
1. Chose Your Lead Contacts
Please tell us who your Board Fundraising Pro Lead Contacts will be. These are the people we will correspond with directly about how to get the most out of Board Fundraising Pro, and the people who will be invited to the private LinkedIn group where they can ask any questions of me and other experts I’ll have in the group.
You might or might not be one of them. Feel free to have a few depending on their role. Perhaps your executive director, director of development, board chair and fundraising committee chair. You can change these names at any time, but we need the names and emails to get started – and please let us know if you want to be one of them!
Please send the names and email addresses to boards@askingmatters.com.
2. Your Landing Page
Membership in Board Fundraising Pro includes a unique, customized landing page for your organization. Your page has already been set up, and a reminder of your organization’s unique URL and password has been sent to your email address.
3. Enroll Everyone in Board Fundraising Pro
Please scroll down to the form at the bottom of your unique landing page and type in the name and email for your whole board and all relevant staff – your executive director, director of development, and anyone else who would be involved with the board and / or its fundraising.
That’s all we need for me to start training and motivating your board. Immediately they will begin their Intro Month, which includes a brief video each week. And we’ll continue to correspond and guide your Board Fundraising Pro Leads so you can get the most out of your membership.
Be sure to let your board members know you’re adding them and to introduce them to Board Fundraising Pro! We’ve written a sample introductory email to board members for you to use, and you can download that here:
4. Join Our LinkedIn Group
This will be where you can reach out to me anytime with any question you have, as well as learn from your peers and various experts I have enlisted for Board Fundraising Pro. Please go to https://www.linkedin.com/groups/14606320/ and ask to join. Also have anyone else who would take a leadership role in board fundraising / training join. That might include your board chair, the chair of a fundraising committee, and key staff.
Reach out to us with any questions!
If you have any technical questions or issues, please email us at boards@askingmatters.com. If at any time you have a question about how to use Board Fundraising Pro, you can email me directly at brian@askingmatters.com.
Here’s to working together to get your entire board to be comfortable and effective in helping raise the funds to do your great work!
